Escenario Santander is a live music venue at Avenida de la Constitución 27, in Parque de las Llamas, a short distance from the Sardinero beach. It holds about 1,000 standing (350 seated) and can be set up as a concert hall or a club. It hosts more than 150 events a year: concerts, the Rock Nights series and party nights such as Disco Flash, a 90s remember session. Escenario works by event, not as a table club. For a group or a special night, tell us on WhatsApp which event you are interested in and we will look at the options.
How to Get to Escenario Santander
Escenario is at Av. de la Constitución 27, 39012, in Parque de las Llamas, near El Sardinero. It is not in the old-town bar zones, so most people arrive by taxi, bus or car.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
Escenario does not publish a dress code; each event sets its own conditions, including age. Bring your ID.
A concert hall that also does club nights
Escenario is first a live venue: a large main room, other multi-purpose spaces, a recording studio and its own podcast. It can be set up as a concert hall or as a club, and that is what makes it relevant for a night out. On party nights it runs sessions like Disco Flash, which on 10 October was a Back to the 90s remember mix. Rock Nights, usually on weekday evenings, bring touring rock bands: Matt Woods on 13 October and Riot in the Attic on 27 October. The rest of the autumn is mostly concerts, with late sessions such as Syncio, scheduled for 00:30 on Friday 30 October. Check each date carefully: the agenda mixes club sessions with seated concerts and family events.
UC Fest and the university crowd
Escenario hosts UC Fest 2026, the Universidad de Cantabria welcome party for the new academic year, organised by the university and the venue. It runs on 15 October from 13:00 to 21:00 with DJ Cheda and the bands Mordisco and Modelo; entry is €3, or €6 with food, and you need to show your university card (TUI) at the door. If you are a student or organising a group from a course or a residence, it is worth keeping an eye on its agenda at the start of each term. Message us and we will tell you what is coming up. The welcome party runs in the afternoon, so it is a different plan from a club night, and you can carry on in the centre afterwards.
Tickets and getting there
Every event at Escenario has its own ticket and price; there is no standard club entry. For groups or bookings, tell us on WhatsApp which date you want. The venue is at Avenida de la Constitución 27, in Parque de las Llamas, close to El Sardinero. From the centre it is a taxi or bus ride, and with 1,000 people leaving at once it is worth agreeing how you are getting home before the night starts. Many concerts at Escenario start between 20:30 and 21:30, earlier than a club night, so they combine well with drinks in the centre afterwards. Late sessions start after midnight. Check the time on each event, because it changes a lot from one date to the next.
