Sala Kaya Santander: boxes, autumn agenda and how to get there

Sala Kaya is the venue people mention when a big name comes to Santander. It is a concert hall and a club at the same time, in Nueva Montaña, and the venue says more than 100,000 people go through it every year. It works differently from the clubs in the centre, so it is worth knowing how before you go.

The room: 1,000 people and 14 boxes

Kaya holds up to 1,000 people, or 700 seated for concerts that need it. Its distinctive feature is the 14 private boxes, which the venue sells with a bottle included and presents as the best view of the stage. For a group that wants to see a concert or a DJ comfortably, a box is the reason to choose Kaya over other rooms.

What music: it depends on the night

There is no single music policy. Over time Kaya has programmed techno, house, urban music, rap and trap, reggaeton, R&B and rock and pop bands, and the venue has hosted names like Bob Sinclar and techno DJ Andrés Campo. Each night is its own plan: a reggaeton party, a techno session or a concert. So the question is not "what is Kaya like" but "what is on the night I want to go".

The autumn 2026 agenda

This is what the venue lists for the coming weeks (dates from its own Santander page, checked on 11/10/2026):

How to get there

Kaya is at Avenida Nueva Montaña 2G, outside the centre's bar areas. Most people have a drink in the centre or Puertochico and then take a taxi, or go straight for a concert. With up to 1,000 people leaving at the same time, taxis take a while at closing: agree beforehand how you are getting home. And note that the same group runs another Kaya in Guadarrama, near Madrid, so when you look up an event make sure it is the Santander one.

Dress code and age

Kaya does not publish a general dress code or minimum age on its Santander page. Conditions can vary by event, especially between a concert and a late party. Bring your ID and check the event details.

Boxes in practice

A box is the most comfortable way to do a big night at Kaya. You get a fixed spot for the group, a view of the stage and the bottle that comes with it, so nobody spends the concert queuing at the bar. Prices change with each event, and with only 14 boxes the ones for big dates go first. If you are thinking of one for Halloween or a concert, ask early. Tell us the date, the number of people and whether it is a concert or a party and we will come back with the options.

Tickets and guest lists

Each event at Kaya has its own tickets, and the venue also runs guest lists. Big names and themed nights such as Halloween tend to sell out before the day, so it is better not to leave it to the last moment. Lists normally come with conditions, such as a specific night or an arrival time. If you are not sure which option suits you, message us with the night and we will tell you how to get in.
