Pandora Santander: what the club in the centre is like
Search for "Pandora Santander" and half the results are about the jewellery brand. This is about the other one: Pandora, the club on Calle José Ramón López Dóriga, in the centre. It is smaller and more central than the big Puertochico rooms and it closes earlier, which makes it a different kind of night. Here is what we know about it.
Where it is
Pandora is at Calle José Ramón López Dóriga 5, 39003, in the centre of Santander. You can walk there from most central hotels and from the bar areas of the centre. That is its first advantage: nobody in the group needs a taxi to get there, and getting home after closing is just as easy.
What kind of place it is
Pandora presents itself as a multi-purpose space: bar, club and events under one roof, with DJ sets and live performances. Local agendas have listed things as different as a flamenco dance show by a city dance school, so the format changes with the night. At the weekend it works as a club. Its own line is premium drinks and a good atmosphere; it does not publish a fixed music policy, so the honest answer to "what do they play" is: it depends on the event, and the calendar on its page tells you each night.

Hours: an earlier finish
Listings give Friday and Saturday from 23:30 to 4:30. That is the key difference from the Puertochico clubs, which go on until around 6:00. If your plan is dinner in the centre, a couple of drinks and a club without ending at dawn, Pandora fits. If you want to keep going after 4:30, Kudéta and Sala Queen stay open later.
Dress code and entry
Pandora does not publish a dress code or a minimum age. For a weekend night in the centre, smart-casual is the safe choice. Bring your ID, and remember that the door decides. The easiest way in is to buy your ticket in advance on the venue's page: you choose the night and get a QR by email.
Tables and groups
The club accepts table and VIP bookings and groups. It does not publish a price list, which is normal for a venue this size. For a birthday or a group night, message us with the date and the number of people and we will tell you the options for that night.

Who it suits
Pandora suits people staying in the centre, groups who want a club night without crossing to Puertochico, and anyone who prefers to be home before 5:00. If you want a bigger room and a later finish, read our guide to Kudéta; if you prefer a pub with good music in the centre, look at Malaspina.
How to combine it with the rest of the night
Because Pandora is in the centre, the natural plan is to start nearby. Cañadío, which local guides describe as the area with the most going on at night, is a short walk away, with bars like El Bogart, Bender or El Mono que Chilla. Have dinner and a first round there, and arrive at Pandora after midnight. If part of the group wants to carry on after 4:30, the walk to Puertochico is short and Kudéta is open until around 6:00 at weekends.
