Ramé Social Club: afternoon drinks and late nights on Calle Moctezuma

In Santander, as in much of Spain, tardeo, going out in the afternoon and early evening, has become a plan of its own. Ramé Social Club, on Calle Moctezuma, has the timetable to match: it opens at 17:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and carries on into the night. Here is how to use it.

Where it is

Ramé is at Calle Moctezuma 3, 39003, in the centre of Santander. Samoa is on the same street, and the main central bar areas are a short walk away. On Instagram it appears as Ramé Club (@ramesocialclub), with around 2,000 followers.

The timetable is the point

DayHours
Thursday22:00 to 4:30
Friday17:00 to 4:30
Saturday17:00 to 4:30
Sunday17:00 to 1:00
Monday to WednesdayClosed

These hours come from directory listings, so check its latest posts for a specific day. The pattern is what matters: afternoons from Friday to Sunday, a full night on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and a Sunday that ends at 1:00. Few places in the centre combine an afternoon opening with a late close, and that is why Ramé works for so many different plans. If you only remember one thing, remember this: on Friday and Saturday you can arrive at 17:00 and still be there at 4:00.

Three ways to use Ramé

  • Afternoon only: arrive at 18:00 on a Saturday for a few drinks and be home for dinner.
  • Afternoon into night: start at Ramé, go for dinner nearby and come back, or move on to Samoa when it opens at 23:00.
  • Sunday out: from 17:00 to 1:00, one of the few ways in Santander to go out on a Sunday without ending at dawn.

What we know and what we don't

Ramé is listed as a night club and accepts reservations; bottle and reserved-area prices are only given on request. It does not publish a music policy, capacity or minimum age. The fact that it is called a social club and opens in the afternoon suggests a relaxed atmosphere early on, but that is our reading of the timetable, not something the venue states. Its Instagram is the best guide to what each session is like.

Groups with different plans

Ramé solves a common problem: the group where some people only want an afternoon and others want to stay out. The first can leave at a reasonable time; the rest can carry on there or a few doors away at Samoa. For a group booking, tell us the day, the time you want to start and how many you are. Bring ID; the door can ask for it.

What a Sunday at Ramé looks like

Sunday is the session that sets Ramé apart. From 17:00 to 1:00, it is one of the few venues in Santander with published hours for going out on a Sunday. It suits the last day of a long weekend, a birthday that falls on a Sunday, or people who work on Saturday nights and want their own night out. The best way to make the most of it is to arrive early: with a 1:00 close, by midnight the session is nearly over.

How we can help

We are a guide, not the venue. With Ramé we can help you plan the afternoon and the night: what time to start, where to have dinner nearby and where to carry on. For groups, send us a WhatsApp with the day, the start time and how many of you there are, and we will look at the options.
