Kudéta Santander: what it's like, music, hours and dress code
If you have asked anyone in Santander where to go out on a Saturday, Kudéta will have come up. It is the big club in Puertochico, the one the venue itself calls the most popular and lively in the city. Here is what you will find inside, which nights it opens and what to keep in mind before going, with the data we could verify and nothing we couldn't.
Where it is and how to get there
Kudéta is at Calle Ataúlfo Argenta 45, in Puertochico. That is the part of the centre where the night usually starts: local guides point to Hernán Cortés, Arrabal and the streets around the Mercado del Este for pinchos and first drinks, and Kudéta is the place to stretch the night out after that. From anywhere central you can walk. Going home is another matter: the club closes at around 6:00 at weekends, so a taxi is the usual option.
The room: two floors and about 1,000 people
Listings give Kudéta a capacity of around 1,000, which makes it one of the biggest rooms in the city. Inside it is split into two spaces: the main dance floor and a smaller satellite floor. That helps on busy nights, because if the main floor is packed there is somewhere else to breathe. It also has VIP areas and reserved tables for groups.

What music they play
The club's own website describes it as varied music, and that is accurate. Listings are more specific: commercial, urban and reggaeton, electrolatino and lighter house. It is not a techno club and it is not a niche room; it is the place where a mixed group can all find something they know. Some weeks there are themed nights, and many of the parties carry the name of Roneo Club, the promoter behind a good part of the programme. If the sound of a particular night matters to you, check the event before buying.
Which nights it opens
Here the sources do not fully agree, so we will be precise. Two listings coincide on Thursday to Saturday: doors at midnight, closing around 5:00 on Thursday and 6:00 on Friday and Saturday. Another guide adds Wednesdays. What we can confirm with a date is that there are Friday parties by Roneo Club this season, such as the one on 25 September 2026. The safest approach is to look at the events calendar on the venue's page, where each night that is on sale appears with its date.
Dress code, age and the door
Listings describe the door policy as "buena presencia", which in practice means smart-casual: you do not need a suit, but you should look like you made an effort. The age question is less clear. The club does not publish a minimum age, and one third-party guide quotes a 21+ door cut. We would rather tell you that than invent a figure: bring your ID, and if you are under 21, ask us before going so you do not waste the trip.
How much a night costs
Prices change by day and party. As an orientation, guides quoted last summer (no year given, checked on 11/10/2026) a free guest list on some dates, advance tickets from €10 with one drink and from €15 with two, and bottles with a reserved area from €150. The list never guarantees entry. The figure that counts is the one on the ticket when you buy.

Our advice for a first time
Start in Puertochico or Cañadío, which local guides call the area with the most going on at night, and head to Kudéta after 1:00 with your ticket already on your phone. If you are a group or it is a birthday, sort the table in advance rather than on the night. And if you want somewhere earlier and more central to finish at 4:30, Pandora, on José Ramón López Dóriga, is the alternative.
