Santander Club Opening Hours: What's Open Each Night and Until When
· Updated
In Santander, Spain, Kudéta and Sala Niágara close at 06:00 on Friday and Saturday nights, and Sala Queen opens from midnight to 06:00 on those same nights; Pandora, Malaspina, Samoa and Ramé close at 04:30 (published hours, checked on 11 October 2026).
Below is the full table for the 12 venues we cover, then the details: who stays open latest, what's on on Thursdays and Sundays, whether there are any after-hours spots, and what Cantabria's rules on closing times say. The hours come from each venue's listings (their own sites, salir.com and FiestasHoy). When the sources disagree, we say so. When there are no published hours, we say that too instead of guessing.

How to read it: each column is the night that starts that day. "00:00–06:00" under Friday means from midnight on Friday night until 6 on Saturday morning. A dash means no published hours for that night, not necessarily that the venue is shut. Special dates (Halloween, Christmas, local fiestas) can change everything, so check the agenda for that week.
Open until 06:00: Kudéta, Niágara and Sala Queen
Kudéta, on Calle Ataúlfo Argenta 45 in Puertochico, opens Thursday to Saturday from midnight. On Thursdays it closes at 05:00 and on Fridays and Saturdays at 06:00. Its ticket calendar also adds some nights before public holidays, so it is worth a look on long weekends. Nights are listed as 18+, so bring ID. Tickets for each night are on its page here.

Sala Niágara, on Calle San SimĂłn 14 next to CañadĂo, is the small one: around 100–150 people, rock'n'roll, soul, funk and electronic nights. It opens on Thursday from 22:00 to 05:00 and on Friday and Saturday from midnight to 06:00. Gigs can start earlier than the club session, so check each date.
Sala Queen, on Calle Tetuán 32, is listed from midnight to 06:00 in the early hours of Saturday and Sunday, in other words Friday night and Saturday night. That makes it the classic last stop when the pubs close. Both listings get its Friday hours wrong, so if you are going on a Friday, ask us first. Amarras, in El Sardinero, is not far behind: on Saturdays it stays open until 05:30.
Closing at 04:30: Pandora, Malaspina, Samoa and Ramé
Most of the centre closes at 04:30. Pandora, on Calle José Ramón López Dóriga 5, opens on Friday and Saturday from 23:30 to 04:30. Malaspina, the indie and rock disco-pub on Pasaje Jesús Revaque Garea, opens Thursday to Saturday from 23:00 to around 04:30; one guide gives a shorter Thursday, so check that night. Samoa, on Calle Moctezuma, opens on Thursday from 22:30 to 03:30 and on Friday and Saturday from 23:00 to 04:30. On the same street, Ramé Social Club opens on Thursday at 22:00, on Friday and Saturday from 17:00 non-stop until 04:30, and on Sunday from 17:00 to 01:00.

Sala Kaya, Escenario, Rocambole and Melao: it depends on the night
Four venues have no fixed timetable. Sala Kaya (Avenida Nueva Montaña 2G) and Escenario Santander (by Parque de Las Llamas) work by event: each concert or party has its own door time. For Halloween, for example, Kaya opens at 23:59 on Saturday 31 October. Sala Rocambole, on Hernán Cortés 35, also depends on what's on. For Melao, by the Plaza Porticada, the hours you'll find online don't add up, so we'd rather not publish any. For all four, ask us on WhatsApp about the specific night.
Thursdays and Sundays
On Thursdays there's more open than you might think: Kudéta (midnight to 05:00), Sala Niágara (22:00 to 05:00), Malaspina, Samoa until 03:30 and Ramé from 22:00. If you're at university, our guide to student nights has the rest.
Read: student nights in Santander →Sunday is quieter. Only two venues publish Sunday hours: Ramé Social Club, from 17:00 to 01:00, and Amarras, with Latin dancing from 19:00 to midnight. Neither Kudéta nor Pandora list a Sunday. The exception is a Sunday before a public holiday, when some clubs add a night, so check the agenda on long weekends.
Are there after-hours clubs in Santander?
As of 11 October 2026 we have not found a single after-hours venue in Santander with published hours. There is a reason: Cantabria's rules set 06:00 as the latest a club can close (see below). And when closing time comes, the law is specific: no new customers, music off, lights on and the venue cleared within half an hour. So the real "after" in Santander is Sala Queen, Kudéta or Niágara until 06:00.
What the rules say: Cantabria's Decree 91/2018
Opening hours for clubs and bars in Cantabria are set by Decree 91/2018, published in the BOC, Cantabria's government gazette, on 9 November 2018. The decree sets maximums: each venue's licence can be stricter, never later. For clubs ("discotecas"), party halls and concert venues, the general timetable is 11:00 to 05:00 in winter (1 October to 31 May) and 12:00 to 06:00 under the summer timetable.
The key detail is when the summer timetable applies. Not only from 1 June to 30 September: also on the nights from Friday to Saturday, Saturday to Sunday and the night before a public holiday all year round, during Carnival, at Easter (Maundy Thursday to Easter Monday) and over Christmas (24 December to 6 January). The Thursday-to-Friday night is expressly left out. That is why Kudéta and Niágara close at 05:00 on Thursdays and at 06:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
Pubs follow a different line. Since Decree 34/2024 (BOC, 14 June 2024), pubs and similar bars can open from 12:00 and must close at 03:30 in winter and 04:30 under the summer timetable. It matches what the pubs in the centre publish: 04:30 on Fridays and Saturdays.
Two exceptions are worth knowing. On the nights of 24 to 25 December, 31 December to 1 January and 5 to 6 January, a venue can stay open up to three hours later (half-hour clear-out included) if it notifies the City Council 30 working days in advance. And during the local fiestas the council can extend closing by up to one hour, on a maximum of seven days a year. That the rules allow it doesn't mean every venue does it: it depends on whether they apply. Every venue must also display a sign with its hours and capacity where you can see it.
