Throwback parties in Santander, Spain, happen at Escenario (Disco Flash, last held on 10 October 2026), Sala Rocambole (La Classica, 80s to 2000s) and Sala Kaya (Remember Reggaeton XXL, 16 October). For an over-30s crowd, try Amarras.
None of them runs a remember night every weekend. These are dated parties, so the useful thing is to know who organises them and keep an eye on the next one.
Disco Flash at Escenario Santander
Disco Flash is the remember brand with the most pull in the city. On Saturday 10 October 2026, Escenario turned its 1,000-capacity room into a club for "Disco Flash: Back to 90's Remember Mix", starting at 21:00. An earlier edition, "Primavera de los 90s" on 22 March 2025, sums up the idea: the music of Cantabria's 90s discos, with neon and lasers, hosted by Jose Antonio Ruiz, a DJ at the Casino de Solares in that decade, with guest DJs Super Poly and Sergio Arce.
The next date is not on sale yet. Escenario has mentioned a Christmas Disco Flash, without a date, as a prize in one of its Halloween contests. When it is announced, we will add it here.
The clubs of back then
Search for "old Santander clubs" and you will find many names. We stick to the ones Disco Flash itself names as the soundtrack of its nights: Cuic, Fresas, La Real and the Casino de Solares. If those names mean something to you, Disco Flash is your party.
La Classica at Sala Rocambole
Rocambole, at Calle Hernán Cortés 35, has more than 20 years behind it, which makes it a natural home for throwback nights. Its best-known format is La Classica Fiesta Ochentera, a DJ set of 80s, 90s and 2000s music by DJs from the Los 40 Classic radio station, held on 14 February (the listing does not show the year). It draws a mixed crowd, from people who danced to those songs the first time to those who know them from the radio. Ask us on WhatsApp when the next one is.
Remember Reggaeton XXL at Sala Kaya
Remember is not only the 80s and 90s. On Friday 16 October 2026 Sala Kaya holds Remember Reggaeton XXL, for the reggaeton that filled dance floors a few years back. Doors at 23:59, boxes for six from €100. Kaya sells its own tickets; for boxes and groups, message us on WhatsApp.
Over 30: Amarras
If what you want is to dance with people your own age rather than a specific decade, Discoteca Amarras in El Sardinero is the place. It has a retro-style room, plays Latin music (salsa, bachata, merengue, kizomba) and, according to listings, draws mostly people over 30, though it is open to all ages. It opens Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a free Latin dance class on Fridays.
