Sala Kaya

Kaya, at Avenida Nueva Montaña 2G, is a concert hall that turns into a club after the gig. Its agenda leans towards urban, rap and pop: Arce plays on 13 and 14 November (the Saturday was already sold out on 11 October), Fuego on 27 November from €8, Fyahbwoy on 18 December, Fernando Costa on 19 December and Hard GZ on 30 January 2027 from €30. Concerts usually start between 21:30 and 23:00. The 14 private boxes, for six people with a bottle, are the comfortable way to see a full house.

Escenario Santander

Escenario, at Avenida de la Constitución 27 in Parque de las Llamas near El Sardinero, has the busiest concert agenda in the city: more than 40 dates listed from October 2026 to September 2027. Highlights include The Lemon Twigs on 18 October, Nacho Vegas on 7 November, Niña Polaca on 13 November, OBK on 12 December and Ramoncín on 19 December. On Tuesdays the Rock Nights series brings touring rock bands (Riot in the Attic on 27 October, Great Fool on 24 November), and some Sundays at 12:00 there are matinee gigs by Los Antilunes. Most concerts start between 20:30 and 21:30.

Sala Niágara

Niágara, at Calle San Simón 14, is the small room where you can see a band from two metres away. Recent dates included Pablo Burgués presenting Escopeta Blanca on 9 October, and DELACUEVA plays on Saturday 17 October at 21:30. Its programme moves between rock, pop, indie and alternative, and after the concert the DJs take over. With 100 to 150 people, good gigs sell out.

Sala Rocambole

Rocambole, at Calle Hernán Cortés 35, has been part of Santander's night for more than 20 years and changes format with the night: live music, DJ sessions, stand-up comedy and themed parties. It does not publish fixed opening hours, so the agenda is what counts. Ask us on WhatsApp what is on.

Bars with live music

For a smaller gig with a drink in hand, Río de la Pila and Calle del Sol are the areas to know. Santander's tourist office says that on Calle del Sol, if you are lucky, you will catch live music. A local agenda points to Bar Rvbicón, a classic since the 1980s with open-mic nights and live jazz; Rock Beer The New, which pairs craft beer with emerging bands; and Gramola Pum Pum on Río de la Pila, where shows tend to start early.

Getting to each venue

Niágara and Rocambole are in the centre and you can walk to both. Kaya and Escenario are not: Kaya is in Nueva Montaña, outside the bar areas, and Escenario is in Parque de las Llamas near El Sardinero. For both, most people take a taxi or bus. With 1,000 people leaving at once, agree how you are getting home before the show.
