Techno in Santander: Clubs, Club Nights and Upcoming Dates

Santander, Spain, has no club playing techno every weekend: electronic music comes in dated nights at Sala Niágara and Sala Kaya, which books Héctor Oaks on Friday 6 November 2026 (from €22).

That is the honest short answer. If you come from a city with a techno club open every Saturday, adjust your expectations: here the electronic scene works by dates, so the agenda matters more than the venue.

Sala Niágara: small room, its own series

Niágara, at Calle San Simón 14 next to Cañadío, holds 100 to 150 people and mixes concerts with DJ nights. Its electronic programming runs through named series. Club Motel, in February 2026, brought Sirekate, R:Elise (over from London) and Fillo Deportaberta, with the main session starting at 00:30 after a concert; tickets were €14 in advance and €16 on the door, 18+. In September it hosted Catarata by Niágara (Zeta live, Nulxx and Anti.K) and the M.A.D. Takeover, with live sets by Flavia Beaká and Alex Nef & Lord High, both with an afterparty.

Listings give Niágara's hours as Thursday 22:00 to 5:00 and Friday and Saturday midnight to 6:00. Being so small, good nights fill up early. Niágara does not have its own ticketing on this site: ask us on WhatsApp how to get in on a specific night.

Sala Kaya: the big DJ names

Kaya, in Nueva Montaña, is a 1,000-capacity hall, so this is where the bigger electronic names land. In September 2026 it held a techno night with Andrés Campo, and in July a house session with Bob Sinclar. Next up is Héctor Oaks, a DJ who closed the Techno Cathedral stage at Monegros Desert Festival in 2024: Friday 6 November, doors at 23:59, tickets from €22 and boxes for six from €285.

Kaya sells its own tickets. If you want a box for the Héctor Oaks night or are going as a group, message us on WhatsApp. Kaya is outside the centre, so plan a taxi there and back.

Summer: Bahía Sun

In summer the electronic party moves outdoors. Bahía Sun 2026 took place on Sunday 19 July at the Campa de la Magdalena, from 17:00 into the night, as an afternoon DJ festival with two stages. One agenda listed it as 16+ and another as 18+. The 2027 date has not been announced yet.
