Nightclubs in Santander City Centre: Every Venue Within Walking Distance

· Updated

Central Santander, Spain, has seven clubs and dance pubs you can do on foot: Pandora, Malaspina, Samoa, Ramé Social Club, Melao, Sala Niágara and Sala Queen; most open on Friday and Saturday and close between 04:30 and 06:00 (published hours, checked 11 October 2026).

The big clubs (Kudéta in Puertochico, Sala Kaya in Nueva Montaña, Escenario by Parque de Las Llamas) are at the edges or outside the centre. In the middle of town, what you get is smaller venues a few streets apart, which is exactly what makes a night on foot work. Here they are street by street, with their nights and closing times, and a suggested order to chain them.

Calle Moctezuma: Samoa and Ramé

Calle Moctezuma gives you two stops without walking at all. Samoa, a night club with an active Instagram (@samoasantander), opens on Thursday from 22:30 to 03:30 and on Friday and Saturday from 23:00 to 04:30. At number 3, Ramé Social Club opens on Thursday at 22:00 and on Friday and Saturday from 17:00 straight through to 04:30, so it works for an afternoon that turns into a night. Neither publishes its music style, so their Instagram accounts are the best guide. Both take group bookings.

López Dóriga: Pandora

Pandora, on Calle José Ramón López Dóriga 5, is the central alternative to the big clubs in Puertochico, with an earlier finish. It's a multi-use space (bar, club and events) with DJ sessions and live acts, open on Friday and Saturday from 23:30 to 04:30. It takes table and VIP bookings. If you're searching for it, add "discoteca": Pandora is also a jewellery brand. Tickets for each night are on its page here.

Pasaje Revaque: Malaspina

Malaspina, on Pasaje Jesús Revaque Garea, is a disco-pub with exposed brick and beams that has been open for more than 20 years. Listings describe indie, rock and pop; other guides talk about chart hits with a packed floor. Either way, expect songs everyone knows. It opens Thursday to Saturday from 23:00 to around 04:30, and it's a short walk from Cañadío, so it slots easily into a night in the centre.

Calle Guevara and the Porticada: Melao

Melao Discotec, on Calle Guevara 12 next to Plaza Porticada, is the centre's Latin club: salsa, rumba, merengue and current Latin hits, with social Fridays, themed parties, live acts and football on the big screen. It also does birthdays. The hours published online don't add up, so we'd rather not give any: if you want to go on a specific night, ask us on WhatsApp.

Calle San Simón: Sala Niágara

Sala Niágara, on Calle San Simón 14 right next to Cañadío, has been a fixture of Santander nights for years: a small room for about 100–150 people mixing gigs and DJ sets, with rock'n'roll, soul, funk, indie and electronic nights such as the Club Motel series. It opens on Thursday from 22:00 to 05:00 and on Friday and Saturday from midnight to 06:00. Because it's small, good nights fill up early.

Calle Tetuán: Sala Queen

Sala Queen, on Calle Tetuán 32, is listed from midnight to 06:00 on Friday and Saturday nights. That makes it one of the last stops of the night when the pubs close at 04:30. Calle Tetuán is in the same postcode as Puertochico, so it's walkable from the centre; at 06:00 a taxi home is the easy option. Both listings get its Friday hours wrong, so check with us if you're going on a Friday.
